Telemedicine (COVID-19)

Check-In Instructions

It is important to understand that the Telemedicine Visit will be billed the same as a traditional office visit, so you will be required to pay the respective copayment and deductible and the minimum payment on any balance.
1.   Check-in 10-minutes before your appointment.
2.   Click on the name of your physician below.
3.   The link will redirect you to the check-in screen.
4.   Enter your first and last name and select “Check In” (aqua color box).
5.   You will then be redirected to your physician’s virtual waiting room. Wait for your physician to begin the Telemedicine Visit.

Requirements

One of our administrative coordinators will contact you if your Nephrologist recommends a Telemedicine Visit.

Before your appointment has been scheduled, you will be asked, “Are you voluntarily giving consent to participate in the Telemedicine Visit.” This is required by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

What is Telemedicine?

Telemedicine allows health care professionals to evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients in remote locations using telecommunications technology. It also allows patients in remote locations to access medical expertise quickly, efficiently, and without travel.
